I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and I am a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. After graduating from Texas A&M in 2000, I moved to northern Colorado to work at Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. as an embedded systems engineer in Fort Collins.

I have been married to my wife Bridgette since 2006 and have one daughter and future PSD student, Claira, born in 2007. I enjoy a variety of hobbies including motorcycling, camping, and music (recording, production, and performance)--I understand the importance of supporting arts in education..

Ever since Claira was born, Bridgette and I have become aware and amazed at the choices that we have for Claira's education in Poudre Schools. As parents, we appreciate the empowerment those choices give us, and I want to do everything I can to see that these choices remain and enable our school district to excel at its purpose: Providing the best possible education for our children.
